The non-profit Waldchind Züri has been running a private early years forest school
(kindergarten to 2nd grade) since 2014 and a nature-based middle school (3rd to 6th
grade, currently being set up) since 2024. We also offer daycare and school holiday
programmes. Teaching and other school activities take place in mixed-age groups, and
primarily in the forest. Starting in first grade, children also work some of the time in our
Montessori-inspired learning environment.

From August 2025, we are looking for an English-speaking assistant (native speaker, C2) for the school year 25/26 who would like to work at the various levels of our school,
outside in the forest and inside in our learning environment. The assistant will work
with the children and independently support the team in various activities.

We are ideally looking for a native speaker of English with good German comprehension
skills so that the children can be immersed in English from the very beginning.

You are
...fluent in English (mother tongue, C2) and understand German
